GLICZARÓW – sleigh ride

kulig 2014

This time we went on a sleigh ride to Gliczarów. On the way we visited the court in Łopuszna. Leon Przerwa -Tetmajer lived at the court, so often called the Court of the Tetmajer. It is a typical court Tatra built about 1790 years. In 1832 court described as “Wooden house in the native style of all our noble mansions, spacious, neatly and firmly placed, adorned with a porch, like all our porches, and on the porch side-benches to sit on, as we see it everywhere …”.

Next   we’ve seen old highland hut, with the original equipment. We been delighted highland trousers embroidery, lace decorations on pillows and colorful skirts that there could admire.

We also visited the grave of KS. Jozef Tischner, who                                                                                                                                                                               spent his childhood in Łopuszna.

Another highlight of our trip was a sleigh ride. For reasons beyond the control of anyone we had to be content with riding the horse-drawn carriageu. Highlanders themselves do not remember such a snowless winter. Only on the slopes is a layer of snow, while around thin layer of snow only and is not predicted more snow this winter. The views of the peaks of the Tatra mountains, viewed while driving, compensated by our lack of snowIMG_1485

After the sleigh ride We baked sausages on fire.
Day finished the dance, which was led by Mr. rycho. Everyone had fun till the morning.
