Montenegro greeted us with beautiful sunny weather.
In Tivadzie, our the entrance point, we could see the old Tivat and new comfortable district Porto Montenegro.
We toured the city of pearls Perast, Kotor and Budva lying on the Gulf and Centije – the historical capital of Montenegro.
Most attractions provided us with a trip to the National Park Lovcen where we drove at the very top of the mountain Jezerski vrh (1657 m). Volunteers climbed to the top of the mausoleum of Peter II Petrovic Njegos, the biggest Montenegrin creator of the Romantic period, and the ruler. All the way accompanied us with incomparable views of the park and the Bay of Kotor.
Bay of Kotor watched from shore when touring it around by bus, and from the deck of the ship as we sailed along its waters. During the ship cruise we sailed:
– to the island of Our Lady of the Rock;
– to Hercegon Novi – the fastest growing city of Montenegro;
– to the Blue Cave,where we bathed in navy blue sea.
On day trip to the Canyon of Tara they decided to leave few participants. During the trip they admired the deepest canyon in Europe – the Tara river bed.
Unfortunately, good things come to an end. But after the tour has been wonderful memories and beautiful pictures that can be seen below
